If your kids LOVE applesauce as much as mine do, you may have at some point considered making the stuff yourself to save some bucks. I’ve personally found the recipes involving boiling and cooking apples a little too time consuming, so when I discovered this winning (and SUPER duper simple) way of making raw applesauce, I was so excited! No added sugar or unknown preservatives, just the good ole’ natural stuff. Try it for yourself, and let me know what you think!
- 3 Apples, peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 TBSP Lemon Juice
- 1 TBSP Cinnamon
- Place all ingredients in blender, and blend for 2-3 minutes, occasionally pausing to scrape down sides for an even blend.
- Refrigerate and enjoy chilled!
